Bienvenue à l’exposition de peinture abstraite “GURU-GURU”. Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer la première exposition personnelle de l'artiste japonais Kiichiro Ogawa depuis son arrivée en France, en novembre 2020. Kiichiro Ogawa vous ouvre son atelier sur rendez-vous du 15 Juin au 07 Juillet de 11h à 18h Atelier dans lequel vous pourrez y trouver ses œuvres peintes avec sa technique emblématique “paint on the air“. "GURU-GURU" est un mot japonais signifiant "la façon dont les choses tournent continuellement" ou "la façon dont les choses s'enroulent sur elles-mêmes en couches", ce qui est très représentatif du style de peinture de Kiichiro.

Il est également bien connu pour son concept «peindre sur l'air »qui consiste à ne jamais toucher la toile mais à laisser son subconscient prendre le dessus sur les mouvements répétitifs créant ainsi une oeuvre d'art qui incarne cet état de trance. La philosophie de Kiichiro tourne autour du mot «rencontre», l’acte de peindre sans intention spécifique permet donc au spectateur de trouver sa propre signification dans cet espace mystérieux.

Welcome to the abstract painting exhibition "GURU-GURU". We are pleased to announce the first solo exhibition of the Japanese artist Kiichiro Ogawa since his arrival in France in November 2020. Kiichiro Ogawa will open his renovated studio by appointment from June 15th to July 7th from 11am to 6pm. You will be able to see his works painted with his emblematic technique "paint on the air". "GURU-GURU" is a Japanese word meaning "the way things turn continuously" or "the way things wrap around each other in layers », which is very representative of Kiichiroʼs painting style. He is also well known for his concept « paint on the air » which consists of never touching the actual canvas but letting his subconcious take over the repetitive movements thus creating an artwork that embodies this trance like state. Kiichiroʼs philosophy revolves around the word « encounter » therefore the act of painting without a specific intent allows the viewer to be drawn into this mysterious space where one can find his own significance.
